We visited Ephesus on February 6, 2018 and enjoyed poking around the ancient ruins and taking photos. Travelling in the off-season means there are few crowds (just a few busloads, compared to the hoards that descend in July and August), and perfect weather (not too hot, not too cold).
This was the first place we've run into difficulty using the drone in Turkey. (To be completely honest, we suspected it was against the rules before we went - so went with the "it's better to ask forgiveness than to ask for permission" philosophy.) A security guard confiscated our drone footage - allowing us to keep two photos. And even a call to the museum site manager was unsuccessful in getting us permission to fly.
We hope you enjoyed these photos from our visit to ancient Ephesus!
